The Assembler supports manufacturing operations by performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling.
Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Work to standard operating procedures or work instructions Perform assembly operations to produce complete product directed by manufacturing schedules Use various fixtures, hand tools and special tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products Perform quality control visual inspections or functional operation of material/ product before and after assembly Utilize good problem solving and troubleshooting skills to check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies Notify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions or equipment malfunctions Coordinate /communicate with supervisors and leads Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Follow prescribed safety regulations The Perks:
